About KGSEA
The Korean Gifted Students Evaluation Association (KGSEA) is a non-profit organization that was officially established in 2009. KGSEA is one of the biggest organizations in Korea that organize international competitions and is also one of the oldest organizations. The organization’s goal is to help talented students in Korea branch out into the world through international camps and competitions. The vision of KGSEA is to teach and train students to give back to society, to encourage children to be opportunists rather than passive people, and to motivate students and provide them with resources.
Materials Studied
During the KGSEA Camp, students will work together with the lecturers to find the answers to different problems about various STEM-related topics. The students are put into groups to discuss high-level problems and to share their culture and backgrounds. KGSEA also invites professors and teachers from colleges in different countries like the U.S. to teach the students at the camps. All lectures are taught in English and both science and mathematics will be taught.
